M.E.T. Tirur Central School, established in 1992, started functioning in a campus near the Goods Shed Road, Tirur is set now in a calm and serene ambience at Alinchuvadu, Tirur. It situates well back from the hustle and bustle of Tirur town. The Zone is made conducive for learning. The institution functions in a sprawling sophisticated building complex having more than 2 acres with sufficient modern amenities in par with other English Schools in the District.
The School had a very humble beginning with nearly 100 pupils and a few devoted teachers of high caliber and professional competence. The school imparts education to all sections of the people irrespective of caste, colour or creed. It aims at enabling the students to complete their higher secondary education with CBSE syllabus.
The School pays due attention in the character building and personality development of the students. Constant vigil is also maintained in monitoring the student’s progress and attainment in both curricular and co-curricular areas.
